We had 2 springs, a new motor, and general maintenance done on our garage door 9/13/22. We thought Joe did a good job doing the repairs needed. After he left, we noticed on our invoice that Genie model 2028 was installed, but we were charged for model 2128. Even though the "better" one was less expensive, it wasn't the one that was installed. We called your company and Joe came back to our house on 9/15/22. I asked him how it was possible for him to install the wrong motor. He said the wrong motor was in the box he opened. I believe he should have checked first that he had the correct motor before installing the wrong one. This has left us with a bad taste regarding your company. Your tv commercial says you are a company we can trust. I'm not sure that I could recommend you to anyone after the experience we had with Precision Door

arrived on time, was back up and running in 40 minutes. just be prepared to PAY...... cost more for 2 cables than it did to have a different company replace both springs. good service, Very Expensive......

The work performed was well done. The one complaint I have is, when I was shown the quote for a new door opener, it did not include all the extra stuff done. After showing me the quote for the new opener he mentioned various concerns on our existing door, however by the time he finished addressing all that appeared to be wrong I was so confused I just said yes go ahead and take care of those things. I was not given any itemized prices for those extra things so was quite surprised to see our total went from $675 to $1635. I had already seen the quote for $675. I didn’t realize all the extras added on that much more to our bill. Quite the shock!

Phone reps were very professional and helpful to answer my questions. Jake the tech was very professional and got the job done right! However, beware of pricing and knowing upfront what they're charging as it got a little skewed in the end as far as total, using coupons and the work that was actually performed etc. There was no maintenance done as charged for. In checking around with other Garage Door Servicing companies i realized that Precision is way higher priced than others. For example charging $20 per roller replacement vs. $5-$10, twice as much for a keypad, labor etc.

When the technician gave me the estimate to repair my garage door, I was surprise by the amount. After paying the bill and I received the receipt by e-mail, I became aware of the fact it was the "Best" estimate and there was also a "Better" and Good" estimate, which I was never made aware of before the work began. I would have liked to have know this and to have discussed these options with the technician. Beyond that the technician was always respectful and answered all my questions. As best as I could tell the work quality was very good.

The man who installed the garage door opener was very polite and efficient. There were only two prices of openers within $75 of each other at the high end range near $900. When I spoke to the manager about the price, he said he had made a mistake and gave me a $100 discount. A different company had the same opener for $650. Do your research before getting work done.

Had a coupon in a local Madison flyer. Had your guy here on 4/29 and he did an estimate which came in at over $1,400 and I couldn’t believe that! The next quote was over $1,000 and I said no way, I’m going to have to get other companies in here for estimates. Then the figure came down to $839.00 after discount coupon. On Sunday, May 2, we now have a pronounced squeaking/squealing when opening and closing our garage door! We expect that for over $800.00 we will have a smoothly running door. Tech Jake came to our house this morning for some warranty work on job done in 2018. Noticed “environmental charge” of $15 on bill. He only replaced some brackets which would fit in ones hand. Why was I charged this??

They did a nice job, but had hidden fees that I didn’t see until they left. There’s a $70 trip charge, just so they get paid to take your money then they pile on an “environmental fee” on top of all the marked up parts and labor. I need a new overhead door, I think I’ll be shopping around more.

Hi Arnold, I'm sorry that the pricing of doors has sky rocketed since the last time you purchased a door in 2004. I'm glad that we came to a mutual agreement on a price for your new door today! I know you will see that the quality of our doors far exceed that of doors made in the past.

I was pleased with the service and the promptness. However, the follow up has downright been awful. The installer said he would email me a receipt. I verified my email address. The repair was done a week ago. I got an email from Brian, the owner, the next day, asking how things went, and asking me to write a good review. After attempting to email him, based on the email address his email came from, and getting a delivery failure, I called. I was told I couldn't have his email address, but "Andrew" would have the billing department send me the receipt. I still do not have a receipt for the repair done on 3/5 and it is 3/12.

Our system sends out our invoices as an attachment in which some emails do not accept them from a website they are not familiar with. I was happy that we were able to use one of your alternative emails that accepted our attachment. I had minor issue with garage door, with occasionally stop while coming down . Person from precision came and thought that may garage door rollers were wearing down, so he changed the rollers and charged me $190 for those. So when I asked him why they are so expensive? He mentioned that they are good quality and life long warranty. Later on when I checked at Amazon, cost of the rollers were only $20 dollars ! Such a rip off

Very nice garage doors, very pleased with the looks and quality, only reason for the 3 stars is that the installer did a very poor job of installing the decorative door handles, did not center properly and just eye balled things, the company did replace the panels and installed the handles properly, the technician that came to replace the panels did a very nice job, very pleased now.

A bit expensive when all is said and done. I could've probably gotten it done cheaper elsewhere, but I had would have to schedule the appointment for two days out. My garage door was stuck open and needed same day service. The three stars are all for Harris. He was awesome, quick, and efficient!

We realize that sometimes an unexpected expenses can hurt your budget. We however thoroughly inspected your door and operator and pointed out a few items that should be addressed besides the broken cables, which you agreed to replace. We strive to leave your home with a door running in good condition for a long time to come.

I had the electronic eyes on my single door replaced. The techs did a great job. However, after the work they only checked the operation on the door they worked on. If they had checked the operation of the double door they would have seen it did not work. The electric eye next to the door they worked on was knocked out of alignment thus the door would not close. I have played with that eye several times and have it working, but it is still giving me trouble. I have never had problem with the eyes on the double door until now. (That door was installed 16 years ago.)

I agree that our service technician was only there for a short time. The trolley on the operator was not engaged or locked in, which he fixed for you. Our service call is relatively inexpensive for professional on time service.

Service tech seemed more interested in selling me a new opener than looking to see if old one could be serviced. The install went well but had to call back the following day to have new unit serviced, as the chain was not tightened correctly and wouldn't allow the door to open properly every time. The follow up visit went well, and door is now opening properly with the new opener after the adjustments.

We give every customer the option to either repair their current opener or explain the benefits of installing a new unit. It is always your choice whether you want to repair or replace your unit, unless the operator is beyond repair. You obviously agreed to replace your current unit based on the conversation with our technician. I'm confident you made the right decision!

I wonder why the next day when I tried to close the door and it stop and went back up. Again in the afternoon tried to close the door and it did go down. Still wonder what happened the first time that it would not close. Praying it will not happen again. It was a very costly repair.

Two gentleman came to repair the door. Although they were able to repair the mechanical portion so that we can now use the door manually, which is greatly appreciated,they were unable to get the motor to work. They did not have a starter or spare motor.

When I initially called, the operator was very helpful and professional. She confirmed all of my information (last name is "Boden" by the way) and also stated I would receive an e-mail before the visit with photos of the technitian who would come to my house. However the e-mail did not come through until hours after the technitians had already left our house and the technitians who came were different than who she had said would be coming. The technitians were very polite, professional and informative. Having spoken to a few coworkers who had similar work done recently, we found the prices to be rather high for this type of service. But we did appreciate the prompt and professional service.

Rob and Joe did a great job. They replaced cables, rollers and end bearings. They didn't try to oversell me anything that was not needed. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. Very impressed with both of them. My only negative is that I thought the price was high. The initial $ trip fee and the markup on the parts seemed a bit much...$/roller and $/ end bearing. However, I was in a real bind with my cars trapped in the garage and Precision was able to come out with 2.5 hours after I called where other repair places could not so I was happy overall. I would use Precision again if they bring their cost for parts to a 50% markup.

nice tec colin horsch came couldnt fix our problems.called his boss to find parts for our 50yr old garage. said thhey will call me if they can find parts. called back to check status,the person who answered said a message to them would be left. as of now still no response to our concern so sad and disappointed! cant recommend your company but will let my circle of friends know the lack of your customer service! sorry but show me other wise! customer Mark and Eleanore
